on deck, the world is not enough.

I saw that a bunch were on this afternoon. The thing is though, Bond movies are part of their repetoire so, to see some of these is just like any other day.

I should check this out, I've never seen a James Bond movie in my life.

Immediately watch Goldfinger, Dr. No and From Russia With Love.

but 8 solid days of nothing but bond. damn that's awesome.

chicks, weapons, villains, elaborate death traps, imminent war and destruction, more chicks....

Oh yeah, and definite swipes at America. Like in one scene where they are testing a bazookaesque piece of equipment, which fires off and blows up a dummy. Q looks at Bond and says, "We're making that for the Americans." nice.

I remember I tried watching them as a kid but they always seemed corny to me, as most older movies did. I think I would appreciate them more, particularly the Connery movies.

Or you'll realize you were an exceptionally bright child.

There's really little need to watch anything beyond the first four or five. So only Connery.

Though I think the Timothy Dalton films are underrated.

Ha, could be that too. I felt the same way recently when I watched all of The Prisoner. It had so much accolades, I figured I was in for something special. And it was special all right, in that huggy, drooly kind of way.

The Prisoner is all idea, not much execution.

cause all those bond movies arent played on tbs every other week

cause i watch t.v. enough to know that spike existed before today. what the hell is tbs?

I'm treating myself this christmas break, watching three bond flicks over today. so sue me.

I like the Sean Connery films but I really like the cheesy Roger Moore ones more. Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan are meh.
