a friend of mine is in town for a wedding that has a ton of music on her ipod, a lot of which i'd like to grab. i don't have much ipod experience, and was wondering if there were any easy or not so easy ways to grab the music off of these or convert them to mp3s. any help would be appreciated, thanks!

podworks is great -- it will cost you $8 but for the price of lunch it's worth it.

I use Anapod (paid) for this, but ephpod is free as works as well.

That PodUtil client works really well.
