I'm experiencing a weird issue... we've got an online pdf form on our corporate intranet that for me and most other people in my company, prints just fine.... black text on white background. For whatever reason, there is ONE user in our office who prints the same form to her HP 8150 printer, and the background comes out gray. I've printed to that printer myself, and it comes out fine for me. We've tried reloading the printer drivers for the 8150, but it hasn't fixed the problem yet. Anybody experience anything similar, and if so, got a solution you can share? thanks!

also, please note, I've already looked into the page and print settings within the pdf document, and everything looks copacetic. I'm thinking it's just an issue with how this particular person has her internet settings that causes the gray background to print out for her, but no one else.

Are you all using the same version of Acrobat?

yup, 7.0 Professional. However, the original form pdf was created in 6.0. I've had to modify the pages a few times in the past with Adobe Photoshop, but still hasn't caused any printing issues for me or most other people.

Did you modify these pages?

I got nothing. Haha. My only longshot Hail Mary was that you had fiddled with it in Photoshop and resaved, and the white background wasn't completely white and her printer resolution rendered that as a darker gray.

you got it, Cory.... I just took the pdf back into photoshop, re-selected all the backgrounds, made sure they were white, printed to pdf, and voila... it came out fine. Now I'm just grumbling because I have to redo this one form for this one person.... thanks!
