This is another one I missed in 2005 that would have easily made my Top-20.

The main guy in the group, IZ, is a protege of Terry Lewis & Jimmy Jam and did most of their drum programming and other instrumentation for the past few years. Their sound is a cross between R&B, hip-hop, electronica, and soul, not unlike the work IZ has done with Lewis & Jam.
