 Post subject: I FINALLY bought a digital camera.

I've never owned a camera of my own, and the last one I remember using was my parent's 35mm Canon they bought in 1980-something. I've been drooling over one for a while, and this is the one I finally dropped the cash on:

Best Buy had it on sale for $450 instead of $500, and I had a $75 gift card, so it seems the timing was right. I should have it in about 5 days max, and I can't f'n wait!

yeah---my gf just got us another one for christmas that is 5.0 but yet smaller than my fucking cell phone.....out of control.

mine feels like such a dinosaur.

No kidding - it makes my old 3.3mp Coolpix 995 look like a turd in comparison. Damn, that thing cost a lot of money back in the day. Now it's practically worthless. Still takes beautiful photos, however!
