Joeycrack, you can sleep easily tonight knowing that two men in connection with the Harvey family murders, as well as another disgusting family murder last night have been taken into custody.
I'm so happy, but so fucking angry. It's supposedly completely random. I really hope they don't come back around and say there is no connection to the Harvey family murders, because then it's back to square one and we have no other leads as far as the media has let us know.
It was really sad going in to Plan 9 last night, because the workers were pretty (obviously) put down by it, and it makes me feel very upset to see people I know hurting like that. I think it'd make everyone angry to hear that two random men murdered a family for no apparent reason at all, but also it'll put our minds at ease considering we know who did it will sooner or later get the proper punishment (death penalty, I seriously hope).

Can't find a link to a story on this, but i'll continue to check news websites so I can post one in this thread.

The reason it's Pennsylvania as well, is that the men were caught in Pennsylvania.

also, now they're saying the daughter of the second family murdered in a similar way was an accomplice. she was the driver, or so they are led to believe as of right now.

unless he turned his skin black, no. but i wouldn't be surprised if that guy was doing some fucked up shit.

i hate old men. seriously. today i wore this skirt and a black shirt that looks like it's from the 20's and some heels, and i step out of my car to pump gas and just because i'm a young female and i'm not dressed in baggy clothing, this man rolls up in his truck and says "hey there little lady, you're looking mighty nice today, where are you going all dressed up like that?" in a suggestive tone. i said "i just got out of school" and walked away, and he drove off. it really let me down though because he didn't look like the crazy google eyed dirty old man who would hit on a young girl, he looked like a family man.

i hate the way the world is now.
not that i know anything different from experience, but from what i do know people fucking suck.

i never get hit on though, but when i do it's from a 40 year old man.

edit: i have a crazy google eyed customer, who is not dirty looking, but he looks crazy. he's one of my favorite customers ever. he can't speak though, so he speaks as much as he can. so it's wrong to say bad people are crazy googled eyed and dirty. those can be the best people in the world.
looks are quite deceiving.

I used to go through there on my way to Morgantown. it's right on the WVa border. It's a hole.

is there a town between Philly and Morgantown that isn't a hole?

isn't that assuming Morgantown isn't a hole? and while there are plenty of places between Philly and Morgantown that aren't holes, there are none between Pittsburgh and Morgantown.

Is this a Richmond specific thing, or are these the people that got blown away in McLean on Christmas morning?

Richmond specific. These people owned a local gift shop of sorts and played in a local band, relatively beloved members of the community, and new years day they and their daughters, 9 and 4, are found bound in the basement with their throats slit.

it woulda been pretty cool if they were just randomly shot in philly in a completely unrelated incident.

well, maybe not cool, but hey at least the street crime would finally pay off.

that probably happens a lot more frequently than we think. that's probably exactly what the Camden police really is.

I was gutted when I heard about this -- how sick and tragic.

I had just been to Carytown specifically to go to World of Mirth and Plan 9 days prior. I was at VCU when WOM opened and it is great to see how it has grown since then (WOM is very much like an Archie McPhees so I guess you can say a 'subversive gift shop' of sorts). The local band 'House of Freaks' actually had some national attention as I recall.

This is terrible :(
