I'm against it. I feel that there would be more room in prison for the serious crimes if drug laws were changed in this country.

I think I'd be for it if someone can be proven guilty without a doubt (and depending on how heinous their crime is), but that rarely happens. Also, isn't it more expensive to put someone to death than to just keep them locked up?

The other issue here is that being involved with a death penalty case appears to not only prolong the grieving process for the victim's family, but in many cases to exacerbate it. My brother was murdered. I have no interest in murdering his murderers and either does anyone in my family.
