So, much to my annoyance, I'm starting to like the Antony & The Johnsons cd. It's like I was with Joanna Newsom. Stage 1: what the hell is this. Stage 2: this is interesting but still a crock. Stage 3: still hate the voice, but these are good songs. Stage 4: defend the weirdo from the snickerers. Stage 5: what are you talking about, this is great.

I think I'm at Stage 3 now.
