It's the polar opposite of the laser-focused, precise performance on that Roky Erickson song that I posted last week. This solo is atmospheric, bordering on sloppy, with lots of open, droning strings. But it is just transcendent and brings the song to a new emotional peak... the way that all good solos should. Just amazing.
For those of you who already know the song (I'm sure it's quite a few), let this be a reminder as to why you love Yo La.
