And there was even a discussion about it!

That was what my "Year In Review" was all about. We also talked about that album with that feature...

let's just pretend Big Ghita is the guy who makes Nelson march. 'Cause there's no pictures on the Net of the tall guy in the small car...

The Frames - Burn the Maps

I bought it in February, but dnorwood had burned a copy for me months (?) earlier when it had been released in Europe and I just forgot about it.

I forgot to listen to the Acid Mothers Temple and the Cosmic Inferno album enough, so I couldn't really form an opinion on it for my list. It might not have made the top 20, but I feel like I didn't give it a fair shake.

Ween's Shinola, though i'm still not sure about the qualification on that.

I don't know -- I haven't remembered it yet. I almost forgot Tori's Beekeeper, but fortunately, I saw it in the pulldowns, and immediately rearranged my list.

This was at #24 on mine at the time and if I were to redo it now, would probably make the cut.

I completely forget Matthew de Gennaro-Humbled Down though as it would've checked in at either #17 or #18.

If I'd heard Boris - Pink three months ago it might have made my top 20 - good stuff

I didn't even realize they had an album out last year.
Time to do a little recon.

I totally forgot The Tears. Might not've made the top 20 -- would need to re-evaluate -- but was definitely a contender.

Absolutely spaced on the Fiona Apple CD, which probably would have been #10 or so.

And I had no idea that Maria Mckee even put out a CD last year. Based on her past discs & the reviews I just read, it probably would have been up there.
