Anyone else think Here Come the Warm Jets-era Eno's look was the inspiration for "Buffalo Bill" in Silence of the Lambs? I can't find an online photo that captures is perfectly, but there was a good one in Uncut the month those re-issues came out, and I thought the caption should have been "It puts the lotion in the basket"

While we're asking questions about 'Silence of the Lambs' what's the song that's playing when Starling does down into Buffalo Bill's basement. It sounds a bit like 'The Crusher' by The Cramps but I don't actually think it is that song. Anyone know?

edit Apologies to the Senator for completely ignoring his question, hijacking his thread and posing an other question.

Whenever I stumble across an episode of Monk, I can't help picturing Capt. Stottlemeyer doing the "tuck."

One of the following, perhaps? They're all listed as being on the soundtrack:

"Alone" - Colin Newman
"Sunny Day" - Book of Love
"Real Men" - Savage Republic
"Goodbye Horses" - Q. Lazzarus
"Hip Priest" - The Fall

I think it's Hip Priest by the Fall. I haven't seen the movie in a long time, but I do know they're on the soundtrack.

I'm pretty sure that it's Alone. I too haven't seen the movie in a long time but this one fits my recollection.

As an aside is there a cooler mainstream director when it comes to music in films than Jonathan Demme? "Something Wild" has The Feelies all over it, as does "Married to the Mob". The guy just knows.

Hmnnn. Having a hard time thinking of what Eno looked like exactly during that period. Would you settle for Riff Raff?
