My dad doesn't really listen to music outside of the classic rock radio station in the car.

At home, it's usually Aerosmith, Mellencamp, Zeppelin, Floyd... He mentions Sabbath whenever he wants to seem rebellious or badass but he doesn't actually listen to them that often, these days.

I'm sure it would consist of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Neil Diamond, Bee Gees, The Who...

Lee Ann Rhimes, Jimmy Buffett and Rush Limbaugh.

my dad's taste in music is pretty awesome. for xmas, i gave him a bunch of cds. his favorites so far: calexico, andrew bird, the constantines and the hold steady. he also has a weird fascination with reggae that i do not share.

I don't know -- the sound of some demon forking him in the ear, and his nearest neighbor in a proximal vat of boiling tar screaming...with his good ear...
