More like 8.0, lame Pitchfork writers. :x

While we're at it, add 6.0 to their score for Alone with Everybody as well.

as most people here probably already know, im about a big a fan of the verve as you can get. so it kills me that every single solo album richard ashcroft puts out gets progressively worse and worse. havent heard this new one yet, but given what ive heard so far of it, im not going to be rushing out to get it either.

I can say that it's a huge improvement over Human Conditions and more consistent than Alone with Everybody. However, Alone with Everybody's best songs are better than the ones on Keys to the World.

I'm probably going to be the only person here who loves Keys to the World, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

I LOVED Alone With Everybody, and thought Human Conditions was better than most people gave it credit for, so I am definitely interested in this new one.

Hey, borg, do me a favor and PM me when you get a chance...

Ditto on Alone With Everybody!

I also think Human Conditions is better than most people gave it credit for, and the b-sides from that era were pretty sweet as well.

this is the guy who wrote 'All In The Mind', 'Gravity Grave' 'Man Called Sun' and 'Shes A Superstar'? Somebody make him give his wife back to that Spiritualized guy and reunite him with Nick McCabe.

I don't like to hold grudges, but I will not return to this man after Alone with Everybody. That's completely immature, but I feel that the man betrayed me.

I had an early leak but deleted it and now have an official copy. Like others have said Richard Ashcroft has fallen way down and have yet to listen to this. Some amazing things already in 2006 with some excellent surprises still lingering from 2005 (Robyn) that have been recently discovered. No time for this quite yet and I also need to hear the new Killing Joke ASAP.

I've heard that new KJ album is pretty terrible. The last one (with grohl on drums) was merely ok. I'm a pretty big fan of alot of their 80's stuff though - well, first two albums + Night Time.
