Fuck yeah! Is it one long episode or just four 30 minutue ones?

I believe it's four episodes.

i set up tivo for ad this morning and it shows 2:00 as the running time, but the description looks like it's four episodes.

i can't wait.

Yeah I set this up too and saw that tivo just billed the thing as 2 hours rather then four 30 minute installments. Brilliant if you ask me. Makes recording a whole fucks hell a lot easier.

I'm recording this and waiting til josh is home from NH to watch it together.

My son has been forcing me to watch his new DVD of some Batman show season one all night. The kid decided it would be fun to watch it with Spanish Subtitles for a bit. Then it gave me a headache and I made him turn them off.

Oy.

I thought it was great, a fitting end if that's what happens.

No surprise that it got canned though, incest related humour doesn't generally go over big, not matter how hilarious.

And it was hilarious.

I think they pretty much summed up and nipped all the speculation with the closing statement from 'The Narrarator' (Ron Howard) -

"This WAS Arrested Development"

Great stuff, truly. It will be missed, if this is the end.

I really hope my tivo recorded these episodes. I've been housesitting, but I'm pretty sure I had AD on a season pass. I really need to re-watch these. Sooooo funny!

That was a pretty good end, whether it was season or series. If series, it wrapped up most of the threads. If season, it still leaves things open for next season.

I mean George Michael and Maebe are still married.

Loved the Veronica Mars nod (the "off-network detective show" is almost certainly VM as their creators are mutual fans, and the actors who play George Michael and Maeby will be on VM sometime this season.)

I don't think we got any indication of what the future holds for this show. Everything was clearly a joke aimed at poking fun at both Fox and the faithful fans who've thought up every scenario that might save the show. Notice the many mentions of CBS? It was just about the only network not mentioned by the freaks over at http://www.the-op.com as a possibility. They're just having fun - the fate of the show is still entirely up in the air.

Anyone see what the ratings for last night were, by the way?

I predict The Loop & Free Ride will be cancelled within 2 weeks of each other.

Yeah, these were pretty good. A fitting ending to the show. I liked the conceit of the last episode, and I live in the Marina they shoot a lot of the show in and around, so it was good to see it get some good air time at the boat party. I hope this gets picked up, but if it doesn't, I'll still be happy with the episodes we got.

Maybe it was the fake wine, but I think one of the Saddam impersonators was the Soup Nazi.

I was pretty happy with how it went out, assuming this is it.

And the ratings were even lower than what they getting on Mondays.

Yea, my Tivo just didn't switch over to FOX on Friday night. Anyone ever have this problem?? You set it up to record and it just stays on whatever channel it was on last. Fucking shit!
Though, I did watch the first two episodes, then I walked away. Female Bateman kept it together, eh?

That's exactly right. I was trying to figure out who it was.

AD - Fox's answer to massive sporting events counter-programming...

It's like one of those RomComs that come out on the same day as a blockbuster action movie...
