Even funnier, it was thrown together at the last minute as a t-shirt contest idea for some friends of mine in a band, and I never really got the chance to sand off some pretty rough edges and finish it.

And now it's on someone. I don't think it's really a cool tattoo—especially on the forearm—but this amuses the shit outta me.

That would be funny, but I just don't think it will fit in with the other garbage I show off. I'm not even happy with the way it finished up, but it didn't win the contest, so I never bothered to finish it, since it was free work and all. Apparently the kids dig it.

...at least he's smarter than the dude we knew in college who had his band's name tattoo'd on his.. arm? Shoulder? I forget. But yeah. Band broke up maybe a year later. Good luck walking around with "Sight Unseen" on your shoulder.

Nothing. The four glyphs are faked Asian characters to resemble the four guys in the band.

Vocals

Guitar (really needed some work)

Drums

Bass (also needed some work).

They also needed some work making them a bit more uniform, but I literally spent a few hours one night throwing this together, and I can't illustrate for shit.

when i was in high school, i was sitting at my best friend's dining room table with her and her dad. her dad was drunk (as always) and noticed that i was doodling something on a napkin. remember the pearl jam "alive" stick figure dude? i drew a bunch of those in a circle. it was just the size of a cocktail napkin. a week later, he tattooed it on his left bicep and surprised me with it. he died last month. (not sure why i tossed in that last part. guess it's still kind of settling in that he's not around.)
