I've only heard one song (P.S.) and loved it. I've never seen any material from Film School in any record store around here, though.

pretty good album. they kind of remind me of The Stills and even the Bunnymen...dunno why. i dig the singers voice, and when they go big with the guitars.

here's a track for ya T...

Thanks loads, D! I'll check it out when I get home tonight. They're coming in town soon and I seem to recall hearing/reading good things about 'em. I just may fork over the cash and check 'em out live depending on your YSI.

I saw them in SF in 2001 or so. They were decently good live, but I've never heard any of their albums.

As much as this makes me want to comment on the arrogance of law students, I have to agree with you. A degree in film production isn't going to get you much, and you're not even going to learn other skills people often learn in college, like how to write.

i would probably laugh at someone going into law school too, provided that someone wasn't myself.

Its healthy to laugh at yourself.

Unless you're naked at the time.

I downloaded the album, uploaded it to my mp3 player but never listened to it and then I heard a song by them on Sirius and didn't like it so I deleted the whole album.

They sound like a Bay Area garage band covering The Cure.. which I guess is what they are. Disintegration era.

I like them a lot... best them I have bought so far this year.
