I had no idea these were still happening. I thought tht Bloc Party one however long ago was gonna be the last one.

i haven't been to making time since the futureheads. then again, i no longer live in the philadelphia metropolitan area.

the next one is hot chip next friday, right? i think they're terribly boring, but i have seen some really bad live bands (liars, adult., electrelane) play making time and the night's are still fun.

Last one I went to was about 1 1/2 years ago...I think it was to LCD Soundsystem, which was a good show...The party's are ok, I just hate all the people that go..

I went to that Liars one. It really just cemented my dislike of the band. And I'm not really a fan of the attendees either, but it's really not much different than hanging out at the Khyber for longer than 20 minutes except maybe more blatant drug usage.

Jesus. Making Time is still going? Bravo...

i went to making time once, i felt like i was a chaperone at a high school dance.
i think that was the first (and so far last) time i felt like the creepy old guy at the club.

The one time that I saw Liars live, it was amazing. Maybe one of the best shows I've ever been to. It's weird to me that anyone would describe them as a boring live band, even if you didn't like the music. Anyway, was this "They threw us in a trench" era or "They were wrong, so we drowned?"
