I have that issue. The photos in there are actually pretty damn awesome. It was a huge interview/article with/about them.

Amazingly, they both come off as extremely normal people.

And she's beyond gorgeous with the most amazing taste and style.

my ex worked for jam as a p.a. and worked the marilyn manson show at the aragon a few years ago. he said that brian (ha!) was walking around the backstage area all made up and wanted to make something with paint and a bedsheet. my ex was standing there watching him throw paint around and i guess manson said, "what do you think? is this too weird?" my ex was like... "uh... no. it's fine." he said manson was just a weird looking normal guy. i had a chance to meet him, but when he walked past me, i freaked out and kept my mouth shut. i'm sure i would've asked him to tie me up and do weird shit. not so great when the husband's around.

and dita von teese is easily one of the most gorgeous women i've ever seen. man, i'd give a leg to have a quarter of her beauty.

Eh, to me she looks like any skeletal Goth you'd find at Suicide Girls.

Is she an actress or performer?

Stripper, perhaps?

Burlesque performer. HUGE difference.

She's a fabulous mix of 30's and 50's style beauty. And to read it, supposedly one of the most amazing vintage clothing and accessories collection known to man. She's become reknowned for it in the fashion world.

And supposedly very, very classy woman.

And I find women who look like her more attractive then the glossy bimbettes you find all over the place at Playboy and Maxim.

I've met MM on two occassions and when he is not in character, he is extremely normal and actually a very friendly and gracious guy...He is a self admitted former Dungeons and Dragons geek gone lucky...

I'm a fan.

Burlesque dancers don't necessarily go full nude. Sometimes top half, almost never bottom(some modern day performers will expose bottom half, olden days-no way in hell).

The whole art of burlesque is a form of dance and comedy, often drama and song. They're known for their elaborate costumes. Modern burlesque dancers take straight from the style of the dancers of the 30's, 40's and 50's(when it basically started to die out, only to be revived wholeheartedly in the last ten years or so). They're entertainers.

And in the first half of the 20th Century it wasn't unusual for high class men and women to go see them perform. The dancers also come in many shapes and sizes.

Strippers on the other hand are basically what you see in the "Gentleman's Clubs" everywhere. They go full nude, they dance sleazily and often down a poll, gyrating their naked bodies in front of stupid men who are then allowed to stuff dollars in their panties. Many of them are call girls on the side.

Strippers generally wear nothing but a gstring and posess ample amounts of plastic in their chests.

Does no-one care that Andrew Eldritch walks among us again? Maybe I should put this under 'People Who Must Be Stopped.' Even the studio version of This Corrosion goes on for like ten minutes - imagine the live experience. 80s costume goth revival, no doubt encouraged by Bauhaus and their success last year.
