yeah granted there are some crap bands that have played on there, but really good ones as well.


letterman, leno, conan, kimmel, ferguson and last call have a better variety of bands.

As I mentioned in another thread, I thought Smigel's "Ladysmith Black Mambazo in Outer Space" cartoon was hilarious, but the rest of the show (like most of this season) has sucked.

SNL is a cyclical phenomenon, currently in one of its down cycles. It will eventually be good again, then will suck after that, before becoming good yet once more.

I predict success for the current set of featured performers once they comprise the core of the main cast.

Parnell is a genius. He writes the raps, I think, and his about Kirsten Dunst (3 or so years ago?) might be the funniest thing I saw that year.
