So I know there are a few people here who love this album by the Junior Boys, but I think most of us thought it was overrated. I was in that category, but I went and bought it earlier tonight and am listening to it proper...

And I'm really digging it now.

So what are your thoughts?

Yeah, tough one for me to call since I've just never really connected with it. You might remember that I had a thread about it awhile back to see what people were thinking and it was mostly meh but with about three thinking it's the greatest. Loved Aimaa's response when she said, "its like a minimalistic funk timebomb that carries so much energy in each throbbing beat and burp. its an electro-funk revolution waiting to happen (or maybe already is. .)".

Guess I kind of gave up on it, even though it is very likeable. Been listening some to the new M83 Before Dawn Heals Us that Kingblind put up today and really enjoying it. Wonder if this one is gonna get a US release anytime soon?

Probably have to wait a year again.

I heard that the new M83 album (or albums?) have a different sound...is that true? Cuz I've heard some negative reviews.
