Yessir. The days of me working for the behemoth are now over. I'm moving on to a smaller agency where I, along with my old boss, will be running our own division and booking only our artists. This means I'll have the freedom to start signing acts within the next year or two. Downside is that the perks I was used to are now significantly cut and I don't necessarily have the "clout" of the old agency.

But you'll make it and be your own force. Best way to go.

Good job Stu. I'm not too familiar, what sort of agency is this?

Good job, Ari. Now you don't have a Beemer or a phone ;)

Good luck, Stu. Fortune Favors the Bold

Haq, I read about them in our local zines, but don't really know what they are all about. Which guy is a friend of yours? Jeremey Lister and the guy who is the singer/songwriter for Bang Bang Bang are the only two guys I've heard music from.

OPA, I used to work for these guys:WMA.

I should go on to say that I learned a TON at the old agency and this opportunity wouldn't have presented itself if I hadn't done my time there. There is a reason the company has been around for over 100 years.

Oh that's right. You did mention that the last time I saw you, and I misunderstood, and thought you worked for Philip Morris. ;)

I'm jealous. I'd love to be able to start my own firm. But then I'd be surfing too much to get any work done. Ha ha!

No, not new, but it was a new division created when my old boss was let go from WMA and joined this one. We want to create a boutique agency within a larger agency. Should be an interesting experiment. I moved to Nashville to hopefully be a part of a revolution of sorts where other types of music can be exploited other than country. This job allows me to do just that. There is a wealth of underground, good music in this town that gets obscured by all of the crap music that is churned out here. Don't know if the revolution will happen, but maybe we can make some waves.

Well done, sir. Find good people, set them up with what they need, and then leave 'em alone!

How 'bout getting fucking Ike Reilly to play Atlanta?

You can't name drop the Clairmont Lounge and then never come through town.

Oh, and good luck to ya my friend.
