They're back, and IMO with some of the best material since In Our Gun. Their new album "How We Operate" will be released on May 29 on Independiente UK.

This is a beautiful, gentle little tune that opens the album.

I love you Dalen. In a non-threatening, sans-Brokeback Mountain way.

Yeah, Split... was my least fave as well. Not much staying power for me.

Based on feedback like this, it was the main reason why I have yet to hear it, although I'm looking forward to the new one now.

I actually think Split the Difference is very underapperciated, and I've been listening to it lately. But I've liked every Gomez album. I'll check this out when I get home from work. Thanks Dalen.

I'll have to check this one out. I wasn't big on the last one either and it's really my only exposure to the band. A couple of tracks were good but overall I thought it was pretty boring.

Thanks, I haven't heard them in a while. They sort of fell off the radar for me. Can't say I loved this one, but it'll get me to check in on the album .

You people are high. Split the Difference is ridiculous. An amazing album. Let it sit for a while and come back to it... you'll see it then. So many killer tracks. Go listen to Nothing is Wrong and tell me that isn't some great shit there..
