The band that inspired Monty Python, helped spawn The Rutles and just, generally done my brain in... GIVE IT UP FOR THE BAND!!!

Agreed, but do not overlook (as many do) the genius of Vivian Stanshall, either. While Neil may have gone on to larger, and greater fame as a member of The Rutles (and satellite semi-member of Monty Python), Viv was THE MAN in the Bonzos... the "John and Pau"l to Neil's "George".

Ain't nothing wrong with being "George", but let us not forget the late, great Mr. Stanshall.
