arab strap is coming to chicago on april 1st and needless to say, i'm very excited. i've never seen them before despite being an arab strap/malcky/reindeer section fan for years.

anyway, i had a dream last night that i went to the empty bottle (chicago venue) for the show and along with the doors being locked, there was a sign on the door that read, "arab strap - canceled". i looked around me and saw that there were a few people who also had no idea that the show was cancelled. then, i looked down and i was wearing arab strap underoos (underroos?), an arab strap tank top, wrestling shoes (wtf?), and had a scotland flag draped over my shoulders like a superman cape. when i caught a glimpse of my reflection in the door, i noticed that i was wearing a mask and had little scottish flags painted onto my face. even weirder than being a scottish superhero, was the fact that no one was looking at me like i was out of the ordinary. i woke up as i was beating on the door at the bottle.

so, yeah, that's it. nothing really of substance, but i had to get this out.

i am a scottish superhero.

(and by the way, i don't know what the sword message icon means, but i'd imagine that all good superheros should have one)

i just hope that's not what you're planning to wear to the wedding we're going to before arab strap.

jeff and shannon should be so lucky.

i forgot to add that i had the body of a kid, too. very small breasts and no curves/meat etc. so weird.

edit: it sort of makes sense now. a show on april fool's day... maybe it won't happen... hm. i might be onto something.
