The first thread I remembering posting in (after lurking for a year) was the top albums of 2001 thread (which obviously was very inspiring for me) and I specifically remember that KPH kept posting his faves of earlier years instead of 2001. He would post his list as of that year, and then post an extra "had I been hip to" list of things from that year he'd discovered since.
