alright, i might have blown it with my recommendation of new glarus' cherry stout a month ago, but this time it's a gimme!

currently on tap is eysphyre (11.5% a.b.v.), which is an eisbock derived from autumnal fire (8.5%a.b.v.). if you don't know what an eisbock is, it's a bock beer that's been frozen, and the liquid concentrate is then poured out. for this beer it's been frozen twice!!! i had 2 pints on sat, and felt the effects after just a 1/2. this is an amazing beer!!! plus, you can buy a growler of it for $15, which is really a bargain for this big beer.

go out and try some soon before it runs out

I will be buying this beer. Thanks for the heads up.

So it's only available @ the brewery?

That reminds me; I'm gonna be in London/ Paris when you're here. That SUCKS. Maybe I'll pick up an extra bottle of this stuff and give it to Cap'N to save for ya.

You're in London when I'm the States. How convenient. ;)

Sorry to miss you, though. Damn.

If OBNER were a spy flick, it would be from the minds of Jerry and David Zucker, and Jim Abrahams. Who happen to be from 'Sconsin. How convenient.

(raises hand) I'll still be here! And I'd gladly store you a bottle, if'n Busty is going to snag one.
