I thought this was now not happening with him. I heard about this probably a year ago, and with his work on the Watchmen, Batman and the Fountain it got squashed. Of course, he's not doing Watchmen now, his Batman never materialized and Fountain has been jockeying around for an actual release date.

I just checked out a blog about him and it doesn't list LW&C on there, just The Fountain, Flicker and some movie called Ronin that's "on hold". Oh well.
