"hello there" was my first word/s.

One thing i did when i was a kid was throw brown playdoh on the ceiling. the ceiling was grainy, not smooth, so even after the playdoh fell down there was a brown spot on the white ceiling. it was there until we moved out of the house and maybe even after that.

Our apartment ceiling looked like that until we painted. I used to always buy those little toys from the machines in the grocery store for a quarter, on our way out. And my favorite was the sticky hand thing. You threw it out like a yo-yo and it stuck to things. And then my aunt discovered a similar item you could buy elsewhere. A little gooey guy that you threw against the top of the wall and he crawled down the wall, head over feet.

A friend of mine, at a time when her daughter was learning to write the alphabet, told her to write certain letters and then mailed it to me. In purple crayon, with a smiley face, it said "Blow me."

Of course, I put it up on the fridge.

haha... your friend sounds hilarious.

i just asked my mom this morning what my first word was. "sue", my mom's name. easy.

"fuck" written in magic marker is priceless. i can't wait to have kids if only to see what crazy stuff they do when they're unsupervised.
