Take.. out?

You mean you people are around restaurants that are, like, open and stuff?

I can't really advocate any take out places, since I like to eat out, but this is a place I like to go that offers take out.

Yia Yia's: New York Style Pizza place located downtown by all the bars. It has the best selection of import beers and frequently changes up what is available on tap. You can also put about anything you'd want on a pizza besides some unique combos they have created.

I just ate at the cracker barrel in lincoln this morning, and i have to say, it upholds the cracker barrel standard well.

carytown burgers & fries-self explanatory (they sell hot dogs and salads, too, though) they serve the best cheese fries in america.. not that i've tested every cheese fry, but i can't see what could top this.

i doubt jean jaques bakery counts, but i order their tomato parmesan soup to go atleast 3 times a school week, for lunch. it's amazing. this place is in a really nice shopping center, and sells incredible baked goods. beautiful cookies and pastries and cakes and pies. it's awesome.
the tomato parmesan is the best item on the menu, but i did order a sandwich from them recently and it was really really wonderful.

mary angelas- you can order to go, so i guess it can be considered take out though it's traditionally a restaurant. they serve the best pizza i've had in my entire life. i recently ate dinner at mary angelas with two friends, one was a girl i had just met who came to vcu from new york, and she said it's the closest pizza she's had to what they serve in new york. absolutely delicious.
