Has anyone here ever used Forced Exposure for your record mailorder needs? I placed 2 orders with them within a week 'cause their prices were a bit lower and, besides the automated order confirmation, I ain't heard a peep from them since. Emailed them last week to make sure they had my order/see when they might ship out/see if they could just ship everything together, but no reply back yet...

FYI - 1st order placed on 3/28, second on 4/5. I know some mailorder places can take a bit longer, but I'm wondering if I could even dump/cancel these orders at this point and pick up the records from somewhere else...

and, yes, I know, the title of this thread lends itself to a better type of post, but them's my question for the day...

Yeah, I've ordered from them before. They'll ship your order eventually, at least as much of it as they actually have in stock. They're really bad about listing stuff that they probably haven't actually had in years.

They're really slow and unresponsive, and I prefer not to order from them unless I have no other choice. They may be able to accommodate you with the shipping, but chances are your first order has gone out by now if they actually had any of it.

When you ordered, did you choose to have them immediately ship whatever was in stock, or did you have them wait until they could ship the whole order? Because if you chose to wait, you might be waiting a loooong time, but I'd bet they'd ship both of your orders together.

I've been debating whether or not to order something from them recently, but their annoying flat shipping rate ($4.50) has been a real deterent. I just can't come up with more than 1 or 2 things I want from them that I don't think I'd have to wait forever for.

yeah - I found 4-5 things I wanted each time and, w/flat shipping rate and the fact that they were $1-$2 less, I went with them...

and they won't even answer the email I sent them regarding my order a week ago. Guess that's why there's no phone#/contact info listed on the site save a fax machine (?)....
