Let me elucidate if I may...
My assessment was prolly a bit harsh. It's a record I enjoyed when I was younger but over the years have developed a certain amount of disdain for. It's well-played and was somewhat groundbreaking for it's time but it's simply a record I just can't listen to it anymore. I know this may sound strange but it's actually a record that now makes me nervous if I hear it... I mean any part if it. From what I've heard from others, apparently I'm not the only one who feels this way about it.
My mistake for including it when it doesn't quite fall under this topic.
For the record, I'm a huge Miles fan.

i thought "summerteeth" was a let down after "being there"
i like all the songs, but "being there" has great songs and an amazing sound and feel to it. I dont' get any of that from "summerteeth" it's great songs but with a hallow feel.

Icehouse - Primitive Man

I was OBSESSED with Icehouse's self-titled debut, but was pretty crushed by what a spectacuar disappointment this second album of theirs turned out to be. "Hey, Little Girl" and "Street Cafe" are OK, but the rest of this album is a steaming turd.

Man, I've got to find a copy or d/l of that s/t debut somewhere...it's been DECADES since I've heard it!
