I think this record is great. It sounds like Bruce meets the Pogues meets Los Lobos meets "Love & Theft" meets Tom Waits meets New Orleans meets "Mermaid Avenue." The musicianship is impeccable and Bruce sounds like he's enjoying the hell out of himself.

Apt. This is one of the most live-sounding records I've heard in years.
