so I threw these albums on ye olde phonograph player this Sunday morning:

Off The Wall (1979)

The Jacksons - Triumph (1980)

Michael Jackson - Thriller (1982)

Image

What I don't understand is how Off The Wall and Thriller can be so great, but that Jacksons interim album (mostly composed and sung by Michael I should add) could be so lame in comparison. A headscratcher for sure.
