After more than a quarter century, a solo album. I'll have to hear it, certainly.

<=== has always considered Love Spit Love to be his solo record. Still looking forward to this, though.

Butler full album stream:

http://music.aol.com/songs/new_releases_full_cds.adp

His vocals are quite purty on this. This from a guy who once only had a four note vocal range.

It's got enough Furs to be recognizably Furish, like "Heaven" or "Sleep Comes Down" type Furish, but it's pretty enough to be closer to Colin Blunstony-territory. Or at least Alan Parsons Furject.

(Dresden Dolls and DBT also being streamed at AOL right now)

This will be too gentle for some people, but I can tell already it'll be in my Top 10 for the year.

Really? I'm a few times through this and it's boring me to tears.

He was on Vh1 classic a couple of nights ago... looks pretty rough, but I'm interested in hearing it. Thanks for the link!

edit: oops, guess they're no longer streaming the album now...

I you like "The Ghost In Me" you'll like this. It's that style. Reflective, not aggressive.

What's that, an outtake?

I think he means "The Ghost in You" from Mirror Moves

Sometimes I'm typing on several keyboards at work and mistakes happen.

Plus I'm dumb.
