I saw them last night and I have to say I was a little disappointed. I mean, they were really good- tight, songs good, but I dunno, couldn't get into it....Anyone else see them lately?

I saw them here the other night. I'm not much of a fan, but my gf is. I was surprised that they rocked a little harder than I expected them to.

I really hate that "Funky Squaredance" song, though. Do the french have a thing for American squaredancing or something?

yeah, that song is painful. they are hit and miss. when they are on I LOVE them - ie Everything is Everything or If I Ever Feel Better...Heatwave is one of their first songs. It's instrumental and it's fucking awesome.

caught a bit of them at coachella... i liked. and my friends who caught the whole set really dug them.

That's my favorite song of theirs. The write-up about them in the Globe yesterday made it sound awesome when they played it at their last show.
