I can only get it down to three;
Beatles
Rolling Stones
Beethoven

but seriously...

Broken Social Scene

I realize The OBNER has to be THE OBNER but get serious...they are fucking good.

The Walkmen

Liars

that would be an easy top 3 for me.

Animal Collective - by far

The Books, Akron/Family & Manitoba/Caribou are all other top post-2000 bands for me, just not as fantastic as AC.

Oh, Akron/Family is a good choice. Very promising.

I would have said The Books, too, but I just couldn't get into Lost & Safe. Also, I don't think The Lemon of Pink has held up all that well. I still really enjoy the debut, though.

Yeah, I can get down with A/F, too, but I'd like to see how they follow-up the split and LP. Same thing for Joggers.

Didn't you hate them? Or the guy's voice at least?

He's talking about Akron/Family, not Arcade Fire.
