You're talking about a client-side research tool of some kind? I'm not aware of one, but that doesn't mean it's not out there. I primarily research through Westlaw (Lexis's biggest competitor), and they do summaries and some cross-referencing, but mostly it's not customizable.
I was thinking more like, as a law student, Id imagine you would have a need to summarize various court cases for future reference- so for instance if you are reading up on a particular issue in IP law, do your Westlaw search- go back over the relevant cases and findings and then dump your notes/summaries into some sort of organizer?
I.e. I use Endnote to keep my references, synopses notes on relevant journal articles.. I was just wondering if there was something specifically marketed towards law.
