I'm sick of ysi with its 25 download limit and 7 day garbage. sendspace is unlimited. we should just abolish ysi.

We should set up an Obner box.net account and get our own music library going.

It could open a can of worms for the RIAA to investigate.

Yeah, do people actually work about the RIAA? I don't know if it's that much different in the US than in Canada, but sometimes you hear things and people really act like Big Brother's watching them.

how does this box.net thing work?
it would be awesome to compile our own library, where only known users could access stuff.

all that aside, ive given up with ysi. sendspace is the way to go.

edit: 1 free gig, 5 gigs for $5 a month, 15 gigs for $100 a year. It looks as though it would have bandwidth issues, however, and might not tolerate 30+ users uploading and downloading too often.

I have tried Sendspace three times today and it blows - the site either died while uploading or just never did anything. Back to annoying Megaupload for me - this is the only one that can be counted on to actually do what it claims to do.

Never had a problem with sendspace. Uploaded thirty files (about 8 gigs) this month alone, every one of them worked fine.

I find sendspace faster than YSI.

ditto. i've never had a problem with it either. cleanest interface and no ysi-esque limits.

Same 'ere. I also like the fact that it tells you how much longer it will take to upload.

now that's a compromise on the level of 3/5 or the great
