I didn't mention Albert Belle, but in any case, you're right, cheating is cheating. But you're also wrong, because cheating is cheating.
I don't think anyone has shown how much farther the ball goes with steroids either. As mentioned above, Marvin Benard used steroids.
Cheating is cheating and Albert Belle got the punishment he deserved for the "crime" he committed. There are no absolutes in life. Bonds needs to reap his punishment. Steroids will not make me a power hitter in baseball. But they'll turn a triple A player to a big leager (Jeremy Giambi), a hall of famer to a legend (bonds), and pretty talented guy to a hall of famer ( Sosa, Palmero, etc.). It also depends on what and how much steroids you're doing. Fact is they do make you infintely time stronger and gain muscle weight which helps you hit alot further. That much can be shown. I played sports alot growing up and there were several guys on my high school football team (i know different sport but) using roids and it made a big difference. It's obvious to anyone with open eyes that it'll increase your power in any sport you play.
