that's not bad. i wonder if there was a conscious decision this year to have intonation, pitchfork, and the siren festivals on separate weekends. three of those siren bands are playing one of the chicago festivals and i remember that dungen played both last year.

Ha, Dirty on Purpose. Good for them! I think we've spent at least 2 years trying to do a show together and it never pans out. Now they're much too big for us little kids.

i really hope i can get the 15th off of work.

the sond SUCKED MAJOR AMOUNTS OF ASS LAST YEAR.

i walked away from spoon because i could hardly hear them at all, knowing that i would see them at acl later in the year. if it wasn't for dungen and the cyclone, i would have been totally disappointed.

the only band i saw last year was q and not u and i couldn't even get close enough so it sounded like they were playing in a wet pizza box.

looks good so far but i want more.

I'm always at summer NAMM during the Siren fest, but hearing about how crowded it gets, I guess i'm glad i miss it.

i always manage to have a great time.

it's always fun, it's just always disappointing in a certain way. i got to dungen early and was damn close and it was amazing. i didn't feel like camping out hours ahead of time for spoon and got shafted.

it is,like anything else in life, what you make of it...i just wish the organizers would make a little more of it so i wouldn't have to.

me and my friends had a water pistol fight at last year's siren.

i went to siren the year radio 4, ted leo, modest mouse, hot hot heat played because it just happened to be going on the weekend i was in new york for my old job... for a FREE festival, not bad at all. i had a great time.

but i don't think i'd travel for it. i'm saving that for cmj.

they added more bands to the lineup.



I read that Priestess was playing too.

i'd probably want to see art brut, priestess, tapes n tapes, deadboy & the elephantmen and the rogers sisters, but i'm not too excited about any of them.
