Old 97's - Wreck Your Life. I'm not sure this should be on there but it seems like it get over looked to me. The indie crowd loves Too Far to Care (which I agree is their best) and I hear some praise for Satellite Rides and Fight Songs but rarely anything about WYL. To me this is a very close second to TFTC.

Sebadoh - The Sebadoh. It was their last and no one really talked about it but it has some pretty good songs.

True, true. First half or so is a really solid run.

Steely Dan's The Royal Scam is my favorite of theirs, but for some reason, it's not their best reviewed at all.

You'rw actually in good company. I am the board's preeminent US-based Dan fan, and that is also my favorite of theirs. Excellent choice, Sir Tapioca!

Eels were "darlings" from their first album, weren't they? Souljacker was their fourth album.

Thanks for the support with The Royal Scam, Ham. Great album.
