Wussup guys. Still on vacation in Florida.

I did manage to get the wireless router working at my parents condo though so I thought I'd check in.

Everybody having a nice week?

Wish you were here.

Hey, I was wondering where you've been. In a couple of these threads, I was half expecting your input at any moment.

Yeah. I stopped through here on Sunday and couldnt get this modem/router straightened out.

Monday-WednesdayAM was spent at a beach house where they actually had internet--I just didnt have time (spent most of it fishing with fiance's dad and brother or laying on the beach)

Yesterday, we got back here but ended up going shopping to an excellent outlet mall.

Today, I've been at the beach but I figured I better get this setup for my folks since they are coming back down here next week.

What's been the big controversy?

i've only experienced long boat key, and anna maria (?) islands. they were far from redneck. the sand and water were far superior to the atlantic coast though.

Sounds like an excellent week thus far; Are you there for another week after this? I'm heading to Mexico on Saturday for a week and a bit. I'm going to be all about the beach.

No real controversy, just the typical run-o'-the-mill stuff. It was a bit of Look Back in Anger kind of day with the brief return of Spade Kitty, a few dust ups over the last few as well with the usual gang of idiots. Business as usual, I guess. Also a few music discussions, the new Sleepy Jackson is great as well. If the links are gone by the time you're back I'll send it your way. Nice summer feel, perfect for the beach actually. Also got the new Cheap Trick as well.

Hope the rest of FLA is good for you.

I capped off the vacation by dropping an ungodly amount of money on extemely dangerous fireworks on the drive home.

The 4th of July should be great.

I've done the same everytime I've been in FLA or SC. I had to smuggle mine across the border, which was always fun. I never waited until July 1st though. Good times.

Fireworks!

If I tried setting fireworks off I'd surely blow off a hand. Which is why I like to watch.

I'm honestly afraid of this one thing I bought that has like 27 individual firing tubes on it.

Also popular should be these miniature Osama bin Ladens that after you light his turban on fire it explodes his head in a mass of color---they were Buy 1, Get 3 Free so how could I resist?

Last year at my 4th party many things were exploded and the only major damage was a solid wooden box that the bocci balls were in and a few patches of grass here and there so we should be right on course.
