I read recently that Live finally fully accepted that they are an Adult Contemporary band and the new album reflects it. I guess they didn't try to throw any "hard rockers" on there this time or something.

I loved Throwing Copper back in the day but haven't been a Live fan for a very long time.

I've got Mental Jewelry if nobody has hooked you up by tonight (EST).

Its the only album of theirs I ever owned, but I still think its got 3 or 4 pretty damn good tunes on it.

Because "Pain Lies on the Riverside" and "Lakini's Juice" are pretty decent tunes. :P

Thanks, Busty.

Honestly, one of the worst album titles EV-ER.

Oh totally. I guess I mean why do I have anything after Throwing Copper? I bought SS and then the album after that  and never listened to it more than once. Someone had the Best of and I just grabbed it to have it I guess.

I used to fucking LOVE Mental Jewelry though.

the album is horrible as well.

the first two Live albums and the one that had a song about a dolphin are all you need. though i might try to track down their mtv unplugged set because that was pretty cool as i recall.

I still like Secret Samadhi quite a bit. If I listen to Live, that's the one I'm going to listen to, aside from a couple songs ("Turn My Head" comes immediately to mind.) That and The Distance To Here get the most Live-play from me. I'll YSI that for you. Nothing new for them, they just did what they did a bit more, but it has some good stuff and makes for a good listen overall.

I just can't listen to Throwing Copper anymore, just burned it out back when it came out. And I'll be happy if I never hear "Lightning Crashes" again.
