I've gone from getting absolutely no maternity pay and totally cool with it, to suddenly having my brother offering me maternity pay for the next few months.


!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :shock:

I seriously don't know if I should laugh or cry right now. And my husband is currently the happiest man in the world.

My brother laughed when I told him I was going to cry and told me I just have to name our kid after him. haha

Well he's co-owner here so indirectly I do. But due to insurance reasons I need to be on their payroll again.

So they have a maternity program whereas the spa doesn't and he wanted to make sure I was taken care of and felt I deserved it.

nice jen!

i'm not sure what is the "norm" for maternity leave. my wife is going to get 5 weeks @ 80% pay, then she can take up to 8 more weeks at 0 pay. which she will do. which means i will not be buying much music this fall/winter. i just realized this. now i am sad.
