And I love regaling him of the stories of the Brit bands I've seen at tiny little venues here, who routinely sell out much larger venues over there.

Blur with openers Pulp at the Vic (2500 capacity)
Oasis at Double Door
Pulp with Cornershop at the Metro
Cornershop at a teeny record store
Stereolab at Lounge Ax

It's fun 8)
