Anyone seen him on this tour? What does he play? I'm a big television fan but I'm not that familiar with his solo stuff. I've heard his latest album which is decent but I think I read that most of his solo work is instrumental. Does he play any Television or much of it?

I'm still trying to decide whether to go see him. I've seen Television before and they were great. I've checked the box though so I'm not sure I'm inclined to go on the off chance that he might play some of Marquee Moon.

Guidance please.

I've never seen him solo, but I did see him in '92 with Television.
Bottom line is, you'll never see anyone play guitar like him ever again.
You should go.

no worries todd...i'm just tired and am looking for a reason to kick myself in the ass to go. And I'm trying to talk a friend into going so I want to be able to set an expectation for what the show's going to be like but you're right he's a virtuouso.

I was this way Wednesday when I was deciding to go see Marah. So glad I sucked it up and went.

My thoughts are it's better to just go than to regret not going. Never know. It could be the best show you've ever seen. It's like the lottery.....you gotta be in it to win it.

You never hear anyone saying "Man remember that time we were going to see that show and ended up not going? Man, that was awesome.".

Do it.

Saw him give a free show in Pittsburgh last Saturday outside in Point State Park. The eels opened and completely sucked. Verlaine was great. Didn't recognize any Televsion songs though and 'See No Evil' would have hit the spot that night but all in all I'm glad I saw him.
