Seu Jorge was pretty great. Those bowie covers are probably his least interesting songs if only because they were just him on the acoustic. The backup band is pretty great. Not to take anything away from Seu but I could listen to them all night whether he was there or not.

I saw him last year at a smaller venue, but the El Rey was packed so apparently his playing at Coachella has raised his visbility although a good portion of the crowd was Brasilian and surely already very familiar with him.

I saw Stiff Little Fingers last night too. They were pretty great. Thx to whoever gave me the kick in the ass to get tix. Probably billzebub.

I didn't go. I know I should have, but after being out Thursday, Friday AND Saturday without my husband, I felt like we were both due a night together. Note to self: hanging out with single girlfriends and gay men spawns bad habits.

My husband has moments of clarity in his otherwise grumpy, cynical worldview, and when he's with me, he's usually pretty happy.
