this awesome band is touring in the midwest, west coast and drrty south right now. i highly recommend seeing them. sweet like sufjan, sour like straylight run, personnel of broken social scene. they put on a very theatrical live show. michigan natives. while the recording's alrights, its their show you don't want to miss.

Everything this woman says is true.

Great band. Live show that borders on religious experience in terms of the grandiosity and collective feeling you get.

I recall seeing them on the lineup for this year's Lollapalooza.

Don't they have a deal with Nettwerk or something like that?

I seem to remember our music writer mentioning some kinda deal they had just inked. That was a little over a month ago.

A great non-Detroit-based Michigan band? I don't believe you.

But I'll check them out. Thanks.

I think the guys voice is plain. I agree. But, I think the music way outperforms to the point thta I don''t pay attention. They do enough harmonies and such that it complements the voice nicely.

I am definitely going to go see them on August 1st. I am excited that they're coming to Norfolk.

Thanks for the recommendation of this band. Great stuff.

those not on it - PM me for this album. This album could be a top 20 for alot of you cats. so dont fall into the category of wishing you heard it in 2006.
