In the year 2012 and 2013. Hopefully we will be in top form by then and smoke the bruins again. Last time they played in 1994, the Huskers won 49-21.

I thought this would be a College World Series thread, then I remembered that UCLA hasn't been anything in beisbol since Jackie Robinson played there.

UCLA has had some decent baseball teams... and players (Chris Chamblis, Eric Karros) but not up to the level of other sports. But who can take a sport seriously where Cal State Fullerton is a perenial power. The Woman Bruins have won 11 National Softball Championships. UCLA leads in NCAA Championships for all sports...

My Dad started us on season tickets in 1962... saw every home game until 1994 when I moved to Norcal.

BUT I remember 1972... Huskers came in to the Coliseum (where the Bruins used play home games before the Rose Bowl)... they were ranked #1 and thought to be unbeatable. Lost 20-17. Broke the Husker hearts.

C'mon wit cher bad self... 2012...2013... don't make no difference...learn you some respect for the (cosmetically perfect) badass Bruins...
