wow, them sound like fightin' words. I've never seen Radiohead, but I can't imagine NIN would be better than them.

I'm not referring to songs or stage set up persay, ( i love each band passioantely for different reasons)...Im just saying, that NIN puts on the better live show, IMO.

I liked Nine Inch Nails better, but the venue where I saw Radiohead sucked, big outdoor ampitheater, which I can't stand. And, they were the opener for REM at the time, so it wasn't really their stage. They were still actually pretty good.

Nine Inch Nails played a little club rite before Pretty Hate mAchine, which was pretty intense, and then a really nice old theater that has been refurbished and is beautiful.

So...not really a fair comparison from here.

Strangely enough, I can.

High energy show, Trent Reznor has an awesome stage persona. I have friends who have seen them over the years and found the shows incredible.

Plus I'm biased since I've always had a crush on Reznor.

Radiohead seem like they may get too mopey at times.

<ducks before Dri throws something at my head>

Saw NIN in Milwaukee recently, the show was very good, tight, and solid. Bite The Hand That Feeds sounded better (more powerful) live than the studio version. Interestingly, the show had very little of the out of control, "anything can happen" vibe I felt they had on The Downward Spiral tour I saw in way back in '95.

It's a kinder, gentler NIN now. :D

it was hard for me to get into NIN when i saw them at coachella... first few songs were boring. the rest of the set was meh.

and in all fairness, it's like comparing oranges & apples with NIN and radiohead.

so whatever.

I saw Radiohead at the 9:30 Club in 1997, so that was awesome. However, when I've seen Radiohead in a comparable-sized/style venue to where I saw NIN (larger indoor arena, Radiohead in 1997 again, NIN in 1999), I agree- NIN were better.

I haven't even seen Radiohead yet, but I've seen NIN twice. I like them both about the same. Haven't touched a Radiohead record in a long time. If I played one today, it would be Kid A or Hail to the Thief. I'm way burnt out on Ok Computer and The Bends.

That first picture looks like a pretty natural position for Yorke.
